Intensive Spring Conference

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Intensive Spring Conference 2023. The conference will take place in Kraków, the historical capital of Poland, and we warmly welcome all doctors involved in intensive and critical care medicine to this exciting event. Kraków is not only one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, but it is also a city of a long and vibrant history of academic excellence, medieval and renaissance architecture, theatres, art exhibitions, and - finally - famous restaurants, bars and clubs.

We invited the best international speakers who will deliver lectures on some of the most important topics. This year, we join efforts with the SepsEast initiative so the first day will be focused on sepsis. We will discuss the broad scope of topics including acute respiratory and circulatory failure, mechanical ventilation, fluid therapy, renal replacement therapies, extracorporeal life support, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, sepsis and infections, sedation, and analgesia.

A special session of the International Fluid Academy – IFADmini – will be held during the conference. Directly before the event, we arranged a 1-day interactive course on mechanical ventilation - the Intensive Spring Academy of Mechanical Ventilation - with renowned European speakers. The course will use real ventilators, an advanced lung simulator, and real-life scenarios for your best experience. This year we will focus on weaning from mechanical ventilation.

This meeting will offer an exceptional opportunity for learning and creating social networks for all professionals involved in intensive care medicine. It will be held at a cosy hotel conveniently located in the direct proximity of the Old Town.
