  \nDear Friends\, It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Inte
 nsive Spring Conference 2023. The conference will take place in Kraków\, t
 he historical capital of Poland\, and we warmly welcome all doctors involv
 ed in intensive and critical care medicine to this exciting event. Kraków 
 is not only one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe\, but i
 t is also a city of a long and vibrant history of academic excellence\, me
 dieval and renaissance architecture\, theatres\, art exhibitions\, and - f
 inally - famous restaurants\, bars and clubs.We invited the best internati
 onal speakers who will deliver lectures on some of the most important topi
 cs. This year\, we join efforts with the SepsEast initiative so the first 
 day will be focused on sepsis. We will discuss the broad scope of topics i
 ncluding acute respiratory and circulatory failure\, mechanical ventilatio
 n\, fluid therapy\, renal replacement therapies\, extracorporeal life supp
 ort\, advanced hemodynamic monitoring\, sepsis and infections\, sedation\,
  and analgesia.A special session of the International Fluid Academy – IFAD
 mini – will be held during the conference. Directly before the event\, we 
 arranged a 1-day interactive course on mechanical ventilation - the Intens
 ive Spring Academy of Mechanical Ventilation - with renowned European spea
 kers. The course will use real ventilators\, an advanced lung simulator\, 
 and real-life scenarios for your best experience. This year we will focus 
 on weaning from mechanical ventilation.This meeting will offer an exceptio
 nal opportunity for learning and creating social networks for all professi
 onals involved in intensive care medicine. It will be held at a cosy hotel
  conveniently located in the direct proximity of the Old Town.We are looki
